JOB DETAIL

Product Managers who bring together deep industry knowledge in Retail Banking and have experience developing Banking Apps in a B2C environment. This role would suit an individual who has hands on experience developing Banking B2C apps at a Bank/Financial Services entity.

Desired Skills and Experience

Person Requirements:

•         10+ years in Banking & Financial Services in a Functional Role (could have started in IT but last 5 years need to be on business side of Product Management).

•         5+ years in Product Development / Management

•         2+ years as Product Manager – leading cross functional teams in developing banking products as mobile apps

•         Experience working in Agile methodology along with IT teams

•         Expert (SME) level knowledge of Retail Banking products include deposits, lending & payments.

•         Advanced knowledge of ecosystem players

•         Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution; MBA preferred

Effective communication, presentation, facilitation and leadership skills

Responsibilities:       

•         Provide leadership and guidance to developing a world class Mobile App for retail banking entity

•         Work closely with Business Stakeholders and determine product roadmap & features

•         Elaborate on features by functioning as the SME for the product

•         Develop MVP and acceptance criteria for product go-live

•         Articulate product features in a consumable manner to the IT organization

•         Participate in Agile Scrum meetings and provide leadership to the development team

•         Identify key partners, tools, processes, products etc that may be required to enhance the timeline, quality
