Responsibilities
As a SDE in Enquero’s Products IP BU, the ideal candidate is one who is conversant with and can work on multiple technologies in their primary role and lead the team and learn new technologies in their secondary role.
Your passion for programming and design combined with your ability to work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. You will exercise independent judgement within defined policies and procedures to determine appropriate action. As well as lead a small team to an outcome while being a role model for your team
Your demonstrated ability to consistently achieve this while building and leading effective teams and diversifying your own knowledge in the areas broader than your programs/assignments will define success in this role.
- Must understand System Analysis and Design with understanding of Algorithms (implementation in any language is okay)
- Design optimal and performant solutions for product backlog items spanning technologies
- Work with Product Owner/Project Manager and UX lead for providing LoE estimates for Jira backlog items
- Lead and own delivery or work items (for self and team)
- 90% hands-on work items (self), 10% team responsibility
- Must be willing to learn new technologies, processes, business functions
Qualifications
Backend Engineer
REQUIRED
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Must understand and conversant to code on at least One (or more) of these technologies

Frontend Engineer
REQUIRED
- 3-5years of relevant experience.
- Basic Requirements: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Responsive Web Design.
- Frameworks: Angular
- CSS Frameworks: Bootstrap, Materialize CSS.
- Middleware: Java, Spring Boot
- Build tools: Angular CLI, NPM, Yarn
PREFERRED
- Expert level in JavaScript (ES6 ) and Typescript basics Angular 9.
- Expert level in CSS responsive web design.
- Experience with charting visualization using Highcharts, D3.js GoJS.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to create and consume RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge on databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.

Azure Data Architect
REQUIRED
- 12 years of overall experience with 5 years in solution architecture role using cloud services.
- Large scale design, implementation and operations of OLTP, OLAP, DW and NoSQL data storage technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL DW, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, RedisCache, Azure Data Lake Store, Hadoop, Hive, MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, Cassandra, HBase
- Designed and implemented analytics solutions using Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Data Lake Analytics, HDInsight, HDP, Spark, Databricks, MapReduce
- Design and configuration of data movement, streaming and transformation (ETL) technologies such as Azure Data Factory, HDF, Nifi, Kafka, Storm, Sqoop, SSIS, LogicApps, Signiant, Aspera, MoveIT, Alteryx, Pentaho, IDQ
- Strong programming fundamentals in any of the fourth generation languages like C#, Java, Python etc. Good understanding of GOF catalog of design patterns, and other compound design patterns as used in the above area of expertise.
PREFERRED
- Visualization using technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik etc
- Experience with any of the following: Azure, O365, Azure Stack, Azure AD
- CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub, VSTS, Ansible, DSC, Puppet, Ambari, Chef, Salt, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
Data Engineer
REQUIRED
- Experience 4 years -6 years of experience in design, development, and deployment of large-scale, distributed, and cloud-deployed software services.
- Must have been part of at least 1 end to end big data project and must have handled defined modules independently.
- Expert in SQL and good with data modelling for relational, analytical and big data workloads.
- Advanced programming skills with Python, Scala or Java.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.
- Strong experience and deep understanding of Spark internals.
- Expert in Hive or Spark-SQL.
- Work experience in SAP-Hana, Teradata, Oracle, etc will be an added advantage.
- Hand on experience with one of the cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in working with batch datasets.
- Hands on experience in writing shell scripts for automating processes.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Delivery focused and willingness to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) will be plus.
- Knowledge of building RESTful services would be an added advantage.
- Well versed with Agile methodologies and experience in working with scrum teams.
DevOps Engineer
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical
- 6-9 years’ relevant experience
- Technical Skills: AWS/ GCP/ Azure cloud, GIT, Jenkins and build automation tools like Maven ( Hands-on exposure to Continuous Integration/ Delivery and related automation toolset e.g. SVN, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Spinnaker, Octopus Deploy) , Scripting in Shell, Groovy or Python, Docker and Kubernetes experience , Continuous Delivery toolset, Jira, ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Docker and Kubernetes experience. Strong understanding of the pipeline creation and deployment on top of the managed pipeline creation and deployment services offered by one of the hyperscale could providers mentioned above.
- Experience in end to end DevOps pipeline involving continuous integration through continuous delivery and deployment would be an added advantage
- Working experience with Infrastructure as Code tools e.g. AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef
- Knowledge of Kafka and message brokers is an advantage
- Experience with APM and monitoring tools e.g. Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Graphite, AWS CloudWatch is a plus.
- Experience of working across end to end product engineering and deployment lifecycle.
PREFERRED
- Complete Product engineering lifecycle management experience. Experience of managing a team 5-6 DevOps engineers for defining the product build, staging and deployment pipelines
- K nowledgeable on SDLC, Continuous Integration/Delivery and related automation toolsets e.g. SVN, Git, Jenkins, JUnit/ NUnit , Selenium
- Experience with APM and monitoring tools e.g. Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Graphite, AWS CloudWatch

- You have strong verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
