The Operations Automation Engineer will support 24x7 operations services, administrate automated workflows in production environments, assist in vetting automation solutions, troubleshoot automation issues and drive operational efficiencies, create and maintain documentation for the automation services being supported.
Essential Functions Operational Support:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting of systems, applications, and services.
- Administer and provide system owner level support for the application while adhering to policy standards.
- Proactively implement automation and scripting that improve staff efficiencies and reduce the need for manual checklist completions.
- Act as a collaborative service provider to our internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with2 or more years of experience as a Universal Controller Administrator or similar workflow automation tool
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem determination and resolution skills
- Basic knowledge of documentation tools, such as Microsoft suite, Confluence and SharePoint
- Ability to work with Leaders and users from all levels of knowledge and expertise
- Working knowledge and experience with ITIL Incident, Change and Problem Management processes
- Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.

- Experience with multi-platform corporate/enterprise environments including Unix, Linux, Windows, Cloud (i.e. AWS, Azure), Mainframe platforms and databases (MS Sql, MySQL)
