JOB DETAIL

  • The Offering Developer Product Owner will play a leadership role on a cross-functional (mix of industry, function, other practices) product development team
    The Product Owner will be responsible for orchestrating a complex, multi-service (cutting across Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, Song) Offering through all phases of its lifecycle; from market analysis, design, build, test, roll-out, activate and sustain/upgrade cycles, ensuring that all activities are directly aligned with the target outcome


  • Product Owners will be assigned to key, priority Offerings (1-2) based on their skills and expertise

  • Key Responsibilities
    Define and own the overall Offering Strategy and Roadmap for an Accenture Offering, working with key stakeholders across the business to drive engagement and agreement

  • Scope the work effort to develop, sustain and/or upgrade Offering

  • Identify the required skills and work with Offering Development leadership to staff the project team
    Able to understand a problem from the perspective of a customer, their pain points and what pain point the offering is attempting to solve
    Ensure that all standards and guidelines as prescribed by the Accenture Assets & Offerings Board are followed
    Seek Client Account Lead, offering sponsor and Marketing & Sales feedback and iterate to incorporate throughout the lifecycle of an Offering
    Work with the Asset Engineering and Knowledge Management teams to host/maintain the Offering content digitally
    May supervise 5 resources, guide agile ways of working at various points throughout the Offerings lifecycle
    Assess impact and resolve issues that may impede progress

  • Follow offering standards and stage-gate processes to ensure offering consistency and quality; obtain sign-off from leads/sponsors before progressing to the next stage

  • Suggest, prioritize, and support the implementation of Offering development process improvements
    Collaborate with other Accenture organizations in support of the Offering as needed (e

    Help shape the future of the Accenture s Offering Development and Product Management team, provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
    Required Work Experience & Skills
    10 years professional experience; with 3 years of client facing consulting experience as a plus
    Proven track record leading a team of 5
    Product Development experience and understanding
    Proven expertise in one or many of the business areas Accenture works in
    Proven success working across multiple senior stakeholders
    Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
    High energy and ability to adapt to an evolving operating model and changing ways of working
    Understanding of agile ways of working and Storytelling a plus
    Experience/understanding of one or more of the following will be a plus: Data Science, Data Visualization, Analytics, AI, Cloud, Security, Sustainability, Change Management
