Description/Comment: Job Description: The successful candidate will provide expertise and support for several in-house created applications running on a Linux OS. Provides internal customers with subject matter expertise, consultation and escalation support. Provide all application support and break-fix response during office hours. Align with the primary internal user and ensure that the applications remain running and delivering the capability they were designed for. Reverse engineer the assigned tools for understanding of their functionality.
Document each tool's functionality and relationship. Maintain and improve existing documentation for the tools. Attend regular team meetings and meetings with the internal customer. Maintain and support security technology infrastructures. Participate in team automation initiatives and automate repetitive processes or monitoring as requested.

**Intake, candidate will preferably live in the Western Hemisphere time zones (PST, MT, AZ or CT) MUST HAVES: Experienced Python and Java programmer. Experience with API calls. Experience with application SQL DB support and integration. Experienced administration of applications on the Linux OS. Required Skills: 6+ years' experience as Java programmer. 3+ years' experience with Bash 3+ years Python programming/scripting experience.
