Role Description:

We are looking for a creative and talented Lead Database Developer with MS SQLServer experience. A successful candidate will have an eye for quality anddetail to help the team build sophisticated and high performing applicationsfor the Business Management Reporting (BMR) System. The candidate will be partof a global team delivering database solutions using agile methodologies.

Job Functions/Duties andResponsibilities:
• Collaborate with peers to deliver high quality work by established deadlines.
• Identify potential issues while staying focused on identified priorities.
• Build high-quality reusable code that can be used as a framework for dataintegration.
• Solve production issues as needed and participate in technical designsessions.
• Work with the team in data modeling, database design, creating efficient SQLfor fast application performance.
• Ensure databases provide required functionality to meet the business needsand maintain data integrity.
• Ensure performance of a large databases.
• Handling one or more assignments simultaneously with effective offshoresupport
• Document business and functional requirements, including data flow, businessrules, and stories.
• Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology processes,as well as other interfacing systems.
• Work with geographically dispersed teams (NYC, Alpharetta, Mumbai, andBangalore).

Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of RDBMSconcepts with excellent problem-solving skills.
• At least, 15-20 years of IT experience using database technologies,preferably MS SQL Server.
• Advanced experience in Data modeling, relational database design and hands ondatabase development using SQL Server.
• Expert in writing, debugging, optimizing and performance tuning of storedprocedure, views, triggers, UDFsand complex queries.
• Expert in Database optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Experience in Data warehouse and reporting & analytical environments.
• Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLCand Agile methodologies.
• Good communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate in a clearand concise manner, across all stakeholder groups.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
• Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security,entitlements, etc.)
• Experience with task management tools such as JIRA.
• Financial industry experience.
