We are looking for a Business Analyst for a consultant client in the Philadelphia area. You will collaborate closely with an innovative and fast-paced team to help clients accelerate their digital engagement.
What you’ll do:
- Ability to work with both the application SMEs and Business Stakeholders to elicit requirements using various methods and to ensure a complete understanding of business processes and rules that need to be
- Work with Product Owner to define project goals and ensure timely delivery of milestone items
- Implement strategic and technical solutions for problems reported by the business and operations team by identifying the root cause
- Help define features and story level requirements for larger project/client implementation
- Create and define user stories, with an emphasis on acceptance criteria, breaking down epics and features into smaller business deliverables
- Understand and document functional, technical, and non-functional acceptance criteria
- Document requirements using JIRA and Confluence
- Create process diagrams, flow diagrams, and/or work with our Design team on UI mockups for functional application requirements
- Help with production issues, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Work with Scrum Master and development team to coordinate the planning of Agile/Scrum sprints for SDLC deliverables
- Provide UAT sign-off during each sprint cycle
- Actively communicate all roadblocks and/or receive sign-off for sprint deliverables from respective stakeholders
What you bring to the table:
- Direct experience working in an agile framework
- Direct experience taking epics/features and breaking them into detailed us
- Ability to write clear and concise detailed acceptance criteria and/or given-when-then scenarios
- Financial services experience preferred
- Experience with SQL preferred
