- Experience with AWS tools
- Expertise in migrating on-prem applications to AWS Cloud on both Serverless frameworks and Microservices[Preferred] based Solutions.
- Strong understanding of IAM policies, CloudFormation templates, SAM CLI & AWS CLI. Capability to automate CD using cloud formation.
- Assist in building fault tolerant system with controls, procedures, and tools to troubleshoot and reprocess system failures.
- Assist in build automated regression and performance testing procedures to ensure code reliability in production environment.
- Assist in building out test environments such that more than one version can be tested.
- Assist in building and documenting source code and change control procedures and their enforcement.
- Expertise in standing up cloud asset monitoring and Observability, Metrics dashboard and setting up alarms and alerts to act on potential SLA, SLO breaches using existing or custom tools.
- Provide path forward with documentation and training to onboard application support team.
- Assist in standing up emergency and after-hours response process.
- Expertise in setting up ServiceMesh like AWS AppMesh for managing cross-cutting concerns in microservices like security, logging, throttling, circuit-breakers etc.
- Expertise with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, EKS/ECS.
- Nice to have:-
- AWS Cloud based SRE experience is a plus
- Assist in build out of the Gitlab based CI/CD pipeline to AWS Cloud to ensure we follow the best practices to perform unit testing, integration system testing, and reliable deployments.
