Roles and Responsibilities

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functionswithin Honeywell. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve thecompletion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; tryingdifferent and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.Install and maintain the performance of database servers.Develop processes for optimizing database security.Set and maintain database standards.Manage database access.Performance tuning of database systems.Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.Create automation for repeating database tasks

Strong command of Oracle, PL-SQL and related toolsAdvanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoringstandardsUnderstanding of relational and dimensional data modelingPowerShell and Unix shell scripting skillsFamiliarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsImpeccable attention to detailBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in Software Development with 4 to 5 years of experience indatabase administration, database architecture, or a related fieldMCSE/MCSA certifications preferredExperience with Linux and Windows Server environmentsExperience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plu
