TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Deployment Experience of VMware products in a data-centre environment. For virtualization Infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge on Virtualization and Microsoft related technologies for Implementation as required.
- Familiarity with VMware vCenter, ESXi hosts & Clustering, SRM, VCF, NSX.
- CLI based trouble shooting of vSphere infrastructure.
- Deployment and PoC of Horizon VDI, vSAN, HCI, NSX etc. Infrastructure
- Familiar in Architect and Design VCF
- Solution designing for virtualization infrastructure.
- Familiarity in Architect and Design VMware SDDC(vSAN)
- Specific Certification for Virtualization.
JD
- Deep understanding of virtualization and related technologies.
- Hands on experience in VMware ESXi, vCenter management and implementing the various virtualization features. (HA, vMotion, svMostion, EVC, FT etc.)
- Availability to resolve urgent VMware environment problems outside of business hours.
- Respond to System Administrators and troubleshoot the VMware side issues.
- VMware and Storage Install, Configure, Manage experience of 6-8 years.
- Deployment of VDI, GPU virtualization, HCI, & vSAN.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtualization. Providing technical support and documenting VMware processes & provide RCA for the same.
- Preparing Installation Document, Project Plan, SoW. etc. as per Projects Requirements.
- Creation and management of virtual machines supporting the enterprise servers running on Windows and/or Linux COE (Common Operating Environment) operating systems.
- Data Center Consolidation (DCC) and Migration with using various migration tools for P2V, V2V and V2P over virtualized infrastructure.
- Maintain the storage area networks (SAN) enterprise storage infrastructure on all network environments & Protocols configuration. SAN zoning for attached hosts to storage devices for load balancing and security.
- Knowledge on deployment of enterprise Backup architecture and configuration.
- Team player and able to work self-sufficiently. Also, handle customer escalations.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, ensuring all objectives are accomplished.
