JOB DETAIL

  • Support current SAP TM solution as well as enhancements and troubleshooting.
  • Support the following core business processes:
    • Freight order planning, execution, and settlement (Road / Rail / Ocean / Barge scenarios)
    • Integration with SAP LBN
    • Integration with S/4HANA components like sales, purchasing and financials
  • Work closely with the end-users on troubleshooting as well as identifying design deficiencies / process gaps.  Conduct root cause analysis, as needed.
  • Identify opportunity for process improvements.
  • Work closely with the SI and client by providing suggestions for improving the solution based on current usage.
  • Collaborate with Workstream Lead to determine the opportunity to improve the current business processes / system configuration.
  • Configure, Design, Build, Test and Deploy the core Transportation solution and ensure it works seamlessly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent technical work experience is required.
  • 10+ years’ work experience as SAP consultant with focus on Transportation Management – business processes and relevant SAP solution.
  • 3 – 4 full-life-cycle SAP TM implementation projects.
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of the integration of SAP TM with WM / MM Modules.
  • Hands on experience in SAP TM Configuration and Administration.
  • Experience with SAP embedded Transportation Management for S4/HANA.
  • Experience with Process Manufacturing is required.
  • Strong design, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experienced in working in a global setting and developing local expertise while operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
  • 50% travel is required.
