Roles and Responsibilities
5+ years of experience in Java, REST API, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Experience building scalable backend systems using REST APIs & NoSQL databases
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving
- Awareness of Amazon build tools and processes is a big plus
- Experience working with Relational DBs
- AWS development experience working with service like DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EC2 etc.,
- Track record delivering software that is correct, stable, high performance, secure, and accessibility compliant.
- Understands how to be efficient with resource usage (e.g., application impact on memory and CPU, caches appropriately, respectful of customers devices, etc.)
- Knows how to instrument software with real user metrics to reflect the customer experience
- Writing clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally.
