Job Title: SAP WM Consultant

Location : Bangalore

Job Summary:

Role Description: What is the domain/role of this Resource?

Support SAP WM/MM modules related processes globally

Support global business users in Shipping, Warehouse, Procurement departments

Job Experience Requirements:

Years of Experience: 8 Years

Type of Experience:

SAP warehouse management, shipping, Purchasing, Inventory, MRP modules

Good understanding of interface with other modules.

Experience with Logistics and procurement business process in life science industry with

batches with expiration and serial number products

Good communication skills

Good documentation skills

Required Skills:

New warehouse set up.

Warehouse feeding raw materials to manufacturing plants

Warehouse shipping finished products to customers / Distribution centers / Other manufacturing sites.

Batch managed and serialized products , material expiration controls.

Supplying raw materials to manufacturing/ repetitive orders, receiving manufactured products and placing in warehouse.

Receiving from suppliers (purchase order receipts).

Scanners.

Outputs, printers determinations, Shipping applications, transportation management,3PL , EDI.

Global Trade System/ processes.

Regulatory restrictions on shipments.

Cycle counting , Internal inventory movements.

Job Responsibilities: Define Objectives, Scope of work

Tickets:

Provide initial response to the ticket with ticket update

Follow up with the requester

Resolve ticket within SLA established.

Enhancements:

Get the priority from the US team SME to work on low to medium complexity enhancements

Discuss requirements with requester. Suggest best practice.

Write functional specs. Configure or work with developer.

Unit test and document the results

Support Business users with UAT testing

Attend/contribute the periodic Enhancement Calls

Report/provide the regular status updates

 

 

Projects:

 

Help with the implementation of SAP WM/MM Projects

Train the Super users/End users on the SAP WM/MM process global templates as needed

Report/provide the regular status updates
