Experience with Juniper(QFX) EVPN VXLAN and Apstra System or Contrail Networking
• Knowledge of IGMP, PIM and multicast routing• Understanding of Python scripting and Ansible and how it works in relation to Juniper QFX / EX products
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies• Extensive routing protocol knowledge – OSPF, BGP and MP-BGP
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment
• Experience designing, building, testing and deploying large-scale network solutions• Optimizing network performance ( QoS, PBR etc..)
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Daily Activities:
• Partnering with internal/external stake holders to develop technical solutions to meet business objectives.
• Gather requirements, analyze alternatives, recommend, document and effectively communicate highly technical solutions.
• Designing and implementing complex enterprise network environments• Define, documenting, and enforcing network standards
Nice to Have Skills:
• JNCIP-DC/JNCIE-DC is a plus
• JIRA, confluence, Tableau, ticketing Remedy
• Value Added Reseller (VAR) industry experience a plus
• Automation / Orchestration experience in a networked environment is a plus
