- Understanding the business functionality & Analysis of business requirements.
- Analyzing the root cause for the issues raised by the business users and advising the developers for permanent solutions.
- Proactively monitoring the batch jobs for any failure and find the root cause for the failure and resolve it.
- Handling the Production support on daily basis and sometimes on weekend support.
- Managing the ETL Servers and doing the patches for fixing the vulnerabilities.
- Check the disk usage and help in space clean up.
- Assigning the roles for the infosphere users to access respective client tools.
- Deploy the ETL Jobs and Migrate the Jobs from Lower to PROD Environment.
- Setting up ODBC Connections for any New source data on the Engine server.
- Used various stage like ODBC, Transformer, Lookup, Join and datasets for building the ETL jobs.
- Created Job sequencer for dependency jobs and monitor the jobs in Director.
- Handling and resolving the user tickets on priority basis.
- Good knowledge on Database concepts(Sql server will be preferred not mandatory)
- Good knowledge on writing SQL queries and sometimes may write or analyze the complex queries and find the root cause of data issues.
