• Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.
Handle the communication for the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, scope, requirements, dependencies, etc. between different teams
• Coordinate the release schedule and resources required
• Identify potential risks that can delay the release and manage them
• Track and communicate the progress and take corrective actions if issues are identified
• Make sure that the release is planned, according to the requirements and budget
• Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release
• Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule
• Plan and provide visibility of the updates on the release activities
• Communicate with release managers from different IT departments
• Lead the migration to production activities to deploy the software successfully
• Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software
• Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies
• Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management Hypercare
• Coordinate the daily scope sessions with different tracks
• Perform QA in Service Now requests to make sure they comply with release management documentation
• Create the daily change requests in myITSM, relate the change to the approved requests and gain alignment with CRB to obtain approval
• Perform the prep activities in ChaRm to package the release scope
• Handle communication to basis to confirm what will be deployed everyday
• Follow-up with change owners to confirm successful implementation or mitigate risks if any
• Support audits providing information related to hyper-care/Break & fix implementations being required by auditors.
Key Skills/Experience
7+ years SAP project management, PMI certification, ITIL, SAFe certifications are desired
Mandatory Technical Skills
Experience using SAP Solution manager and Charm
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system.
