JOB DETAIL

  • Manage, grow, and support the team members executing on the strategic roadmap to build stable, scalable, and distributed services and solutions.
  • Manage infrastructure supporting applications and services, server, SAN, and networking aspects.
  • Manage lifecycle of assets supporting the applications and services; maintain stable product versions and updated hardware.
  • Collaborate with peer Engineering and Development teams to implement and maintain enterprise platform applications.
  • Participate in and cultivate a culture of direct, compassionate feedback.
  • Build and support a results-oriented work style and encourage transparent communication.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and teamwork
  • Work with the leadership to iterate on the strategic roadmap.
  • Advocate for the team and its initiatives to IT Senior Leadership, Product Leadership, and other leaders throughout the organization.
  • Work with leadership throughout the organization to further the implementation of our business initiatives.
  • Work cross functionally with design, marketing, product and people teams to communicate context from their parts of the organization that are relevant to ongoing efforts.
  • Help identify and remove obstacles to project execution
  • Evangelize the importance and role of the department and team throughout the organization
  • Team lead should be able to make good, technical judgement calls during IST hours.
  • Skills Required
    • Ability to ensure engineers remain motivated through coaching, mentoring, and performance management

    • Experience with technologies including but not limited to; Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, Gitlab, Linux, VMWare, Nimble, EqualLogic, Dell Servers, Windows, Active Directory, CentOS, SQL, Rancher, Docker
    • Experience in a DevOps environment
    • Experience managing teams implementing stability in the infrastructure
    • Experience working with and managing infrastructure
