- Support production and non-production databases administration of our customers on AWS Cloud.
- Support database migrations to Oracle (Redshift to Oracle) and tuning Oracle databases post migration.
- Develop and maintain administration, automation and monitoring scripts.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and produce relevant documentation as needed.
- Work with Product Development teams and provide feedback to improve product quality.
Technical Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Experience with Oracle GoldenGate
- Strong Oracle core DBA experience
- Strong oracle architecture knowledge
- Strong Oracle Performance Tuning Experience (Instance Tuning & SQL Tuning)
- Experience in oracle features - RAC, Data Gard, Compression, partitioning, analytical functions
- Experience on Multi-Tenant Databases
- Experience on User access reviews, security, and data encryption
- Experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL
- Experience with Enterprise Manager for monitoring and administering mission critical databases
- Experience with database backup and recovery
- Experience with database patching and upgrades
- Experience in any scripting language such as Unix shell script (or) Perl script.
- Knowledge on database and SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
- Experience on Redshift databases is an added advantage
- Knowledge in MySql databases.
