• Debugging and troubleshooting experience with database queries, stored procedures, triggers, shell scripts, etc.

• Participate in daily scrum calls.

• Execute and handle database objects, views, procedures, indexes and file system structure.

• Conduct knowledge transfer session for Support team prior to release.

• Assist and support production installations.

• Provide day-to-day support for production issues.

Required Skills :

• 5-7 years of relevant Sybase Developer experience preferably in the Financial industry.

• Strong experience working with waterfall and Agile/Kanban methodologies.

• Extensive experience in writing complex stored procedures and triggers.

• Good understanding of database design and normalization.

• Good experience in writing Unix and Shell scripting.

• Knowledge of Mongo DB, Oracle or Informatica an advantage.

• Experience with financial applications (revenue/expense/GL) an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and with others.

• Good communication/collaboration skills.

• Experience working with teams located in multiple sites.

• Flexible with working hours as global teams are involved.
