JOB DETAIL
Must be well versed with AD utilities, Online patching
Cloning and patching applications and databases
Must have knowledge about concurrent managers configuration, definitions and trouble shooting
Backup and clean up various log files
Must be skilled in SYSADMIN activities like user administration responsibilities, request groups, register forms, printer setup, register custom applications, etc.
Implementing 24x7 production support procedures
Manage, monitor and configuring workflow
Creating database users, password management and maintaining password rights
Backup and recovery
Expertise in RMAN, hot and cold backups
RAC, ASM and data guard experience
Monitoring database using OEM and custom scripts
Database lock, space management, export and import of the database, performance tuning at DB and apps Level
OS level commands, automation, scripting knowledge is good to have
Must have good troubleshooting skills on applications and databases
Minimum experience on approaching performance issues will be good.
Additional skills on Application and DB upgrades and migration may be concerned based on experience.
Additional skills like OBIEE, WebLogic, SQL server, SOA, Agile, Hyperion, etc. are an added advantage
Additional skills on Fusion middle ware, Cloud infra structure are an added advantage
Experience on working in production support environments with 24*7 support will have an additional advantage.
