Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Data Analyst to help shape the future of the centralized seed handling systems for Seed Product Development. This position will work closely with our business partners, project managers, optimization scientists and development teams to understand their analytical needs, identify critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. This role will review and analyze data to answer key questions and ad hoc data needs from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity focusing on process optimization, as well as investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, simulation, and visualization.

Requirements:

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or agriculture related field
• 3+ years’ experience collecting, curating, and mining data as a data analyst
• Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
• Ability to learn quickly and prioritize work within a complex data environment
• Strong problem-solving skills while maintaining a creative and open-minded approach
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
• Strong communication skills between the development teams and the business partners
• Go-getter attitude

 Preferred Qualifications:

•   Experience with Python Dashboard and Jupyter Notebooks

•   Experience with big data

•   Experience with simulation programming

•   Experience with warehouse fulfillment and/or supply chain processes

•   Previous exposure to warehouse management systems such as HighJump
