- 10+ years in the IT development of which the last 5+ years in API development.
- 4+ years as API (Apigee desired) tech lead with clear understanding of API product and development practices.
- 2+ years architecting or engineering and designing API-based (Apigee preferred) engagements.
- Apigee certified professional highly desired.
- Google Cloud Platform experience REQUIRED, with certifications as a desirable
- Strong knowledge of security aspects of Apigee not limiting to 2 way TLS, trust stores, OAuth 2.0 integrations and SAML Integration.
- Strong knowledge on API Patterns and be able to setup guidelines for the engineering team to develop on patterns.
- Experience with CICD tools like Jenkins, Chef, Git, SONAR
- Expertise in developing tooling required to automate processes.
- Experience in implementing solutions using Apigee Extensions.
- Experience in TDD - specifically implementing TDD/BDD for API components
- Understanding of microservices architecture to conceptualize overall API solutions, a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
