Collaborate with the Finance team to perform data and business process analysis, document business requirements, and create innovative information solutions that address these business requirements into working documents.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and strategies with available technology solutions
Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline the finance organizations’ operations. Work with IT BI architecture (EDW) team in order to understand and develop the data model supporting the report design.
Drive the delivery of quality deliverables
Develop policies regarding data collection to ensure integrity of data consumed
Develop and utilize dashboards effectively to enable data-driven decision making and recommendations
Help internal business customers understand the delivered solutions and how to use them to maximize production and efficiencies
Participate in testing and deployment to comply with business requirements and assist in replicating issues that need remediation
Provide maintenance support to resolve customer reported issues
Support the roll out of new BI products to the business, including training to end users.
Assist with analyzing the impact of major strategic initiatives
Produce ad hoc and project-based analysis as necessary in order to help understand business performance impacts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analytics or related field
Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in analytics or in a relevant field
Significant work experience with SQL, are a must
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, web-based applications
Keen eye for details and aptitude for working with data
Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team. Work experience with Agile sprints and development.
Highly accurate and thorough in all tasks
Exceptional organizational and presentation skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
