We are seeking Cloud Engineers who has experience with Cloud Development, Big Data technologies, Kafka and Spark streaming. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Cloud native development - Microservice, API Gateway, Serverless computing, Big Data Analytic in hybrid cloud.
- Working with SQL/NoSQL Databases and Cloud-Based Object Stores.
- Planning, designing, and developing native cloud-based applications.
- Design RESTful services and integrate them with existing data providers using JSON or XML as needed.
- Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms.
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, or relevant field
- Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or OpenStack Administrator Certification a plus. (Other cloud-related certification also a plus.)
Core Competency Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer role or related position.
- Full application stack
- AWS Cloud Experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo, ECS, AppSync)
- Docker
- Languages: Java, NodeJS, Python, PHP, ReactJS
- Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services, preferably AWS.
- Experience working with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Docker, and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of web services, API, REST and RPC.
- Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL database
- Experience or understanding of software applications design tools and languages.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of design for software applications running on multiple platform types.
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled at working in tandem with a team, or alone as required.
