Job Description
Stratacent is seeking the Senior Quality Assurance Engineers for the cross-functional Cloud platform team. As part of the enterprise solutions architecture group, she/he will ensure that application/s meet business standards for functional, system, quality, and architecture requirements. the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will review business and software requirements, execute tests, log defects, and report test status to the project teams to provide highest quality as possible. Should be hands-on and eager to make an immediate impact upon joining the team.
Responsibilities:
- Professional software testing including test automation, test data creation, test case design, and test methodologies.
- Efficiently execute all test cases across all front-end and back-end areas of the application.
- Work with WebDriver (using Java), Maven, TestNG framework.
- Build, test and maintain a test automation framework and test scripts to ensure repeatability, coverage, reliability.
- Database testing, Integration testing, Unit Testing, BDD, functional and regression testing.
- Manually testing Web Services - API using Postman and REST API automation testing framework
- Work efficiently with Microsoft Excel skills (Experience with Excel formulas, calculations).
- Test data creation using Snowflake is a plus.
- Operate both as Selenium automation developer, functional tester, and backend tester based on demand.
Skills Required:
- Min 5+ years of experience QAE, SDET.
- 3+ years of experience working with data platforms.
- Professional software testing experience including test automation, test data creation, test case design, and test methodologies Professional software testing experience including test automation, test data creation, test case design, and test methodologies
- Efficiently execute all test cases across all front-end and back-end areas of the application.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (using Java), Maven, TestNG framework.
- Build, test and maintain a test automation framework and test scripts to ensure repeatability, coverage, reliability.
- Experience with POM (Page Object Model) design.
- Familiarity with Integration testing, Unit Testing, BDD, functional and regression testing.
- Experience in Web Services - API testing manually using Postman and REST API automation testing framework is a plus.
- Strong coding skills, strong knowledge in Java programming language.
- Strong Experience in database testing, capable of understanding advanced SQL concepts: Extensive experience with data mapping, data calculations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Experience with Excel formulas, calculations)
- Experience in test data creation using Snowflake is a plus.
- Experience with JIRA (Preferably JIRA Xray), Git, GitHub.
- Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong sense of self-motivation, organization, and attention to details.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, and own the end to end testing process.
- Clear articulation and precise communication.
- Organized, detail-oriented and has ability to multitask.
Preferred:
- Experience using AWS technologies like CodeBuild, Snowflake.
- Industry certification in AWS is a plus.
- Junit, Cucumber knowledge are a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
