Trissential is currently seeking a Lead Application Developer to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee, WI (Remote).
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Lead Application Developer to imagine, create, and support the ways we interact with our customers.
- In this role, you will work with business units and analysts to identify and understand business problems and goals and design, implement, and support the solutions to those goals.
- This
position entails 50% new features/project work and 50% supporting/mentoring the team.
- You are considered a technical leader on your team.
- Lead projects to improve engineering, test, and operational excellence best practices on your team.
- Develop high quality, secure, scalable & maintainable software, abiding by clients coding standards
- Participate in technical planning, determine tasks associated with project assignments, estimates and dependencies
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to design software solutions that supports the Mortgage Insurance life cycle
- Review code with other developers to share project and technical knowledge
- Flex to work with new technologies and tools as the client explores new ways to deliver business solutions
- Mentor and counsel junior teammates
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA testers to plan and execute in a high-energy Agile environment
- Ability to create and execute test cases using Junit with a mindset toward continuous testing
- Ability to create scalable technical solution designs
Qualifications
- Completion of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Additional experience (3 years) beyond the minimum (below) may be substituted for education beyond an Associate Degree.
Tech Stack:
- Programming languages - Java or some JVM based language
- Frontend framework - Angular or React
- Messaging middleware - MQ Series, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, AWS SMS, AWS SQS, or Kafka
- Databases - Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS
- Cloud infrastructure - AWS
