- 8-10 years of SQL DBA
- Work with Application Developers, Data Analysts and/or Data Architects to review logical and physical data models, ensuring data integrity and security, eliminating redundancy and improving database performance
- Construct and maintain databases based on the logical data model and physical database designs
- Monitor and tune production databases
- Provide 24/7 support for a variety of production databases through participation in on-call responsibilities shared among the DBA staff. In critical situations, this responsibility may require working evening or weekend hours
- Prepare project work plans and project time and cost estimates for the manager's review/approval. Lead or oversee work activities assigned to Database Administration staff
- Lead/participate in the development and administration of logical, physical and database-specific data standards
- Maintain knowledge of and assist in training others in new technologies related to data management
with Developing/Debugging ColdFusion Applications is a plus
