- Work with the Development teams to understand the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs
- Build and maintain systems that will monitor the application and the infrastructure
- Assist the Development team with deployment strategy and capacity planning across all environments
- Work with the Development team to deploy and manage tools that support SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management
- Work collaboratively with other Developers, Testers and Product Owners
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- •5+ years in DevOps experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree
- AWS and/or Solution Architecture certification
- Experience with Git source control service such as CodeCommit
- Experience deploying and administering CI/CD tools such as CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Jenkins
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform.
- Experience with Automated Testing solutions
- Experience with Relational Database, e.g. PostgreSQL, Redshift and NoSQL document databases, e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB
- Experience with AWS Limbda and Step Functions
- Good working knowledge of Javascript or Typescript
- Solid understanding of strategies for providing high availability and security
- Ability to define scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of deployment strategies using Docker for containerization
- Strong understanding and experience operating in an Agile Development environment
- Experience with Unix/Linux environment
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
