We are hiring for the role of "Senior SharePoint Developer" for a Multinational IT Services Consultation Organization for Noida/Bangalore.
Position Title- Sr. SharePoint Developer
Location - Noida/Bangalore
Experience 6-12Years
Qualification - Bachelors degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent;
Responsibilities
- Deep functional understanding of the SharePoint platform and capabilities, the Power platform as it pertains to O365 SPO solutions, Forms and SharePoint migration tools
- Ability to understand business objectives and translate into SharePoint functionality / requirements
- Verbal and written communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and technical document writing
- Experience of working with a wide range of client facing stakeholders with some engagement at the senior level (could be tweaked depending on the level of Consultant that is being recruited)
- Understanding of SharePoint governance good practice and importance
- Understanding of Microsoft Technology stack
- Ability to configure Simple applications using out of the box SharePoint functionality
- Awareness of the end to end Solution Lifecycle Development process
- Understanding of platform hosting models and environments
- Ability to work with offshore delivery teams
- Small project delivery, management of scope and customer expectations
- Ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
Desired Skills
- Proficient with ASP.NET and C# development in a commercial environment, using a range of technologies (C#, .NET 4, Rest API and SQL)
- Proficient with client scripting technologies (jQuery, Javascript, AJAX) and the ability to write functional cross browser code
- Programming in a team environment utilizing a software development life cycle (SDLC) tools such as Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server
- Development experience with a relational database – Microsoft SQL Server, including data access via ADO.NET, Entity Framework, REST and LINQ
• Experience in the configuration and administration of SQL databases (including queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views and indexes) and understanding of SharePoint content databases
• Experience in response design frameworks and techniques • Good understanding of Agile development and design principles• Knowledge of Entity Framework and MVC will be an added advantage.• New track certifications such as MCTS, MCPD, or MCITP strongly preferred
