In this role you will be play a key role in company efforts to transform our data systems working with AWS.
You will help evaluate AWS solutions, design and architect our data integrations and help to move our high-tech business forward.
You will develop web services integrating disparate systems and create visual reporting capabilities.
You will be part of a high-quality team providing application support, data access and reports to end users to drive business decisions and efficiencies based on data.
What you will do:
- Be part of the team that will architect and build an AWS data platform for the company
- Use your database experience to optimize the AWS services
- Research latest data analytics technologies and identify opportunities to accelerate access to data
- Build data integration solutions between Sales, HR, and Marketing
- Develop web applications using Java, .NET
- Provide excellent customer service to support applications, reports and data systems
- Write complex SQL queries in support of application development and reporting
- Troubleshoot and solve complex data integration, application and reporting issues
- Use latest BI and reporting tools to develop analytical and graphical reports
- Help foster a team environment that is supportive and customer service focused
How you will shine:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Development
- Experience in cloud-based computing infrastructure and platforms
- Java and/or .NET development experience (2+ years preferred)
- Experience building/using web APIs (XML, REST, JSON)
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server/SSIS, and other database engines
- Knowledge of website architecture and responsive web design
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing timelines
- BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Excellent customer service skills
