Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Write clean, testable code
- Fail fast and use code refactoring in everyday practices
- Handle complex technical and data challenges
- Efficiently ingest, normalize, and transform large amounts of data
- Work on web and mobile interfaces
- Actively stay on the cutting edge of new and emerging big data and cloud technologies
Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field (or work equivalent).
- Senior-level knowledge in some of the following areas or related technologies and concepts:
- Java, Python, React, and js
- RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Relational, NoSQL, and Graph databases
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes
- CI/CD frameworks
Essential Functions
- Must be effective working independently and in a team setting
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions quickly
- High attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with teams across the organization
