A Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field preferred.
Experience
3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of BI, data science, statistics, data modeling, and analytic skills.
Proficient with database concepts and technologies (MS SQL Server), data marts, programming language (SQL/SAS/R/Python), reporting and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
Experience working in environment using Agile/SCRUM methodologies and principles.
Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance concepts.
Demonstrated advanced data analytics, data mining, and data visualization skills.
Ability to communicate and make recommendations to management.
Demonstrated advanced interpersonal/verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Self-starter, with a strong work-ethic and attention to detail.
Strong statistical analysis knowledge and skills with experience leveraging SAS, Python, and/or R to perform in-depth data analysis.
Strong understanding of health data, including managed care, population health, or health insurance operations.
