JOB DETAIL

Build and design constructs to be used CI/CD toolchain
Ensure seamless execution of CI/CD pipelines and fix issues as and when required
Focus on building automation to reduce occurrences of errors, improve customer and development experience
Design, implement, maintains and operate information system security controls and countermeasures utilizing endpoint security solutions and policy as code
Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, reporting on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends
Perform and document root cause analysis for pipeline errors
Continuous feedback on status for Change/Release Management process
The DevSecOps Engineer serves as a bridge between the development and operations functions. The DevSecOps Engineer identifies and optimizes the interdependencies between these functions through a
collaborative approach to continuous delivery. The engineer works to improve developer productivity and delivery speed by enabling developers to be more self-sufficient and automating operations processes.
Pipeline Build and Configure

Build technical components (e.g., writing code to develop interfaces, conversions, reports, workflows) to realize pipeline design.
Collaborate with development/ engineering, QA, and Infra. operations, teams to maintain high-quality deployment artifacts as they move through the deployment pipeline
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to design and improve the solution deployment pipeline
Identify interdependencies and productivity barriers between the development and operations functions
Focus on building automation to reduce occurrences of errors, improve customer and development experience
Design, implement, and maintain automation toolsets for carrying out configuration management, infrastructure and solution deployment processes
Standardize change, validation, and deployment processes to reduce complexity
Responsible for key system design and integration decisions around tools, processes and practices enabling teams to apply DevOps practices
Execute deployment operations to monitor and improve on pre-release, upgrades and current versions of third-party software
Provide subject matter expertise on application/ solution server technologies, and evaluate compatibility of programs with existing hardware and software features to plan for application of DevSecOps practices
Lead data development and definition of acceptance criteria for pipeline being developed
Continuous feedback on status for Change/Release Management process
SecOps

Implement continuous security monitoring capabilities to identify security vulnerabilities and communicate security risks and solutions to monitoring engineer
Implement, maintain, and operate information system security controls and countermeasures utilizing endpoint security solutions and policy as code
Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, reporting on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends
CI/CD Enhancements

Build and design constructs to be used in the CI/CD toolchain
Ensure seamless execution of CI/CD pipelines and fix issues as and when required
Drive, document, and optimize the Release Management process to promote the highest level of quality in a technology implementation / release
Monitor, measure, and control all release activities to drive efficient release activities to company policies and standards
Perform and document root cause analysis for production, pipeline, and deployment errors
