Job Overview 
 

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Architect-.NET to drive growth and deliver solution excellence for our Cloud Center of Excellence within Application Development and Management (ADM) Global Practice. The Senior Azure Cloud Architect-.NET will be responsible for conceptualizing and architecting end-to-end solutions in areas around cloud migrations, cloud governance, cloud modernization, Agile/DevOps transformation and next gen ADM (both application support and application development / modernization) solutions for our customers and drive mutual success and growth. 

As a Senior Azure Cloud Architect-.NET at Datavail, you will work directly with our strategic clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for an expert, with broad and deep expertise in the Enterprise Architecture/Cloud Platforms (Azure)  as well as strong experience in consultative selling, who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs. 

REQUIRED 

• 10+ years of overall Application consulting experience 

• Demonstrated ability to sell and deliver (lead) complex engagements working with a global team 

• Experience in delivered solutions based on C#, .NET, Nodejs/Javascript frameworks (Angular/React), Containers/Kubernetes, Microservices Architecture on Azure 

• Ability to gain and sustain executive relationships as a trusted business advisor 

·     Experience with running Cloud Adoption Framework, Cloud Governance and Planning workshops 

·     Experience with Cloud Infrastructure 

·     Excellent understanding and hands-on experience in architecting and delivering Cloud Application Development and Management (both support and new application development) 

·     Excellent understanding and hands-on experience in delivering Cloud Modernization/Migration and Cloud Managed Services to customers on either Azure. 

• Detailed knowledge of cloud foundational components such as identity and access management (IAM) software defined networking, security, governance, and compliance 

• Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, cloud migrations, and technology management. 

·     Excellent understanding of selling and positioning deals that make best use of nearshore/ offshore at scale 

·     Excellent understanding of estimating, pricing and commercials of a deal 

·     Proven experience and understanding of the pros/cons of the global delivery model while crafting sales solutions 

·     Strong collaborator with successful track record of working in a heavily matrixed organizational structure 

·     Ability to apply critical thinking to develop and solve business challenges 

·     Exceptional consulting skills in communicating, establishing of strategic direction, influencing others, negotiating skills, operational decision making, problem solving, facilitating and managing meetings, and questioning and probing 

·     Highly skilled in value proposition development, solution selling, focusing on the customer, sales ability / persuasiveness, and business needs analysis 

·     Good understanding of market trends and technologies 

·     Excellent customer executive and senior level relationship building capabilities during a pursuit 

·     Experience managing complex clients in the past 

·     High level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage fuzzy situations 

·     Hold an existing Azure Architect Certification or commit to procuring one within the first 90 days 

What You will DO: 

• Advise, own, define, and articulate a strategic technical vision to drive digital transformation for our prospects and customers 

• Be the Go-To "trusted advisor" for our customers 

• Run Cloud Adoption Framework workshops 

• Work with our prospects and customers to define and architect joint initiatives and co-create their transformation journeys and roadmaps to meet their business and IT needs 

• Be a leader and give delivery teams context and confidence to make correct technical decisions, while establishing a culture of excellence 

• Advise customers on overall technology standards and practices and governance strategies 
   

• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape 

• Provide market insights to ensure our customers’ IT strategies stay current and contribute to their competitive advantage 

• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity 

• Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Practice Leadership to help define and deliver new offerings 

• Work on Business case development, project and program management, proposal writing and business management 

• Assess the Customers' knowledge of cloud platforms and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners 

• Collaborate with technical staff in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on Azure platforms 

• Maintain technical skills and knowledge, collaborate and share with the technical community while educating customers on Azure platform 

• Be a Cloud Platform evangelist with our customers, partners and external communities 

• Build end-to-end solution constructs on ADM pursuits in areas around cloud modernization, Agile/DevOps transformation and next gen ADM (both application support and application development / modernization) 

• Build an integrated solution strategy working across different technology groups/horizontals including Custom .NET/.NET Core based solutions, Full Stack Web Applications (HTML/Angular/ NodeJS), Containers/Kubernetes, Microservices Architecture 

• Articulate value in terms of business outcomes/outputs and come with a product/ solution mindset to building ADM applications 

• Work with ADM practice leaders and other practice areas to review effort and cost inputs for overall solution efficacy, deliverability and Winnability 

• Present and lead ideation and solution alignment workshops with our customers to establish the art of the possible and help them to realize it 

• Solution Selling - Ensuring quality solution delivery and subsequent solution selling to other key stakeholders 

• Creating collaterals: Creating capability decks, case studies, mailers and contribute to creation of Marketing assets 

• Provide thought leadership by speaking in technical conferences, webinars, marketing events and be heavily involved in publishing case studies, white papers and blogs
