Client is modernizing its Warehouse Management System. Moving away from legacy WM on AS400 to Cloud based SaaS solution. The position requires a person to build integrations from AS400 to new WM on cloud.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Understand current integrations with WM.
- Lead design sessions and provide logic inputs to other developers on the team.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate new WM.
- Ability to provide technical expertise in software design, construction, and deployment.
- Document integrations and flows.
Essential Skills Required
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- 10-12 years of experience in working with warehouse management systems.
- Experience with coding RESTful (JSON) APIs on AS400 is a must.
- Excellent working knowledge of SQL/400.
- Strong command on AS400 programming languages; CLP, CLLE, RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE and DB2/400.
- Knowledge of MQ and socket communication on AS400.
- Knowledge of Manhattan PKMS configuration, screens flow and code structure a plus.
- Experience with source control, code reviews, code coverage analysis, and bug tracking systems.
- Experience designing and deploying a high quality, scalable enterprise software solution.
- Knowledge of Java, MySQL and PowerBI a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in software.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations with associates from all levels of management.
