You'd be working with other members of the UX team supporting a portfolio of applications used by key areas of the business. There is close collaboration with Product and Engineering as you solution complicated workflows that improve the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our products.
We have a user-centered approach to design and work closely with our user base to create the most valuable and efficient UX. We work fast and look for simple ideas that make a big difference.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management to identify, document and solution UX tasks
- Create sketches, wireframes, process flows and prototypes that define the interaction and/or interface for new and existing products and features
- Incorporate user research and analytics into the design process to ensure your decisions are focused on our users
- Provide modern UX solutions for applications built on Angular UI, Material Design, Java/Linux
- Quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs, including Product and Engineering stakeholders
- Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience to senior management
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure seamless and continuous development and deployment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline
- 5 - 7+ years experience in UX
- A portfolio that demonstrates experience in application and/or product design
- Portfolio examples that show utilizing or contributing to a themed, code-based Design System (such as Material)
- Ability to understand and design end-to-end workflows that are data intensive
- UI development experience and understanding of front-end frameworks is a plus
- Thrive in a 2-week sprint cycle and can manage multiple UX projects at once
- Experience working with Pendo or similar analytics tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of WCAG 2.0; experience adhering to AA standards a plus
- Using Figma as your design tool of choice
- Ability to lead collaborative cross-org workshops a plus
- Experience working within healthcare a plus
