- Minor automation enhancements, code changes to current Infrastructure as code setup
- Support the current Infrastructure as code database automation framework, troubleshoot code issues and resolve them
- Raise & Review pull requests, test them, get them approved and perform deployment in AWS Cloud
- Perform weekly Infrastructure code releases & deployment as well as maintain the current database infrastructure environment in AWS cloud
- Learn and implement industry best practices for Database Devops implementations
- Learn, maintain & implement AWS cloud native service & respective features
- Performance analyze the environment and identify bottlenecks if any with end to end Root Cause Analysis for issues
- Performing Technical POCs with new diverse technologies like Graph DBs, GraphQL, Data visualization tools like Splunk, Tableau, Grafana etc.
- Out of the box thinking on automating areas that are manual, recurring and repetitive
- Perform effective communication with the team over collaborative tools like Slack, write descriptive emails and present to the team
- Note: Candidate is expected to have AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification or else get certified within 3 weeks after joining.
Technical Skill Set required:
- AWS Solutions Architect (certification prerferred) having minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working on AWS services mentioned below:
- EC2 - Security groups, AutoScaling Groups
- IAM - Roles & Policies
- S3
- Route53
- EBS
- KMS Key
- Cloudformation
- RDS or any other native AWS database service
- Python coding experience of 2-3 years or more
- Knowledge writing SQL queries
- Basic Unix/Shell commands knowledge
- Hands on experience with Version control - github
- Hands on experience writing Ansible playbooks
- Experience with Data Visualization & Dash-boarding tools like: Tableau, Splunk is a huge plus
- Experience working with either Ansible, Java, GoLang, Groovy or similar language is a plus"
