The Software Engineer will perform detailed analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance, and documentation for both front and back-end development. Assists in maintaining current information systems. This is a REMOTE, 6-month contract to hire opportunity. We are pleased to offer a full comprehensive benefits package and competitive 401k.
Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for full stack development and the following tools will be utilized.
- Front End – Oracle Apex, HTML, CSS, Java script
- Back end – PL/SQL (Oracle)
- Progress a plus
- Windows and Linux OS
- Development in a Linux terminal environment.
- Front-end and backend development with database integration
- Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Ruby and JRuby development.
- Web application development (Ruby on Rails, PHP, Oracle APEX, ASP.NET, REST, SOAP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript)
- Data exchange formats (XML, JSON etc)
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related fields like Computer Science
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
