3-5 years’ experience running/dressing cables, preferably in a lab/data center environment.

Experience working with Equipment racks.  Racking and stacking network equipment up to 50lbs.

Mechanically sound to be able to work independently on projects.

Able to work on ladders at a max height of 10’

Experience with hand tools

Drill

Wrenches

Experience working with Windows/MS Office (Word, Excel required, Visio and PPT a plus)

Experience configuring devices via terminal (CLI) or though browser

Able to distinguish different cables and their uses.

Cable Plant experience (CMTS, DOCSIS, COAX)
