JOB DETAIL

We are looking for an energized Senior Finance Manager to help build and grow the FP&A function in India, driving business partnership, financial insight, rigor and efficiency in the finance Org. The position will have high visibility across the organization and as a key business partner to the R&D Organization, you will partner with Engineering and Product leadership to drive long-term planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting. In addition, you will also be responsible for driving operational improvements in all aspects of FP&A function, involving efficiencies in monthly R&D, Go-To-Market, and G&A processes. Strong candidates should demonstrate deep finance knowledge and the capacity to serve as a highly effective partner to Druva’s executive leaders and with global Finance and Accounting teams. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Engg and Product leadership to drive strategic decision making in terms of capital / HC allocation across investments, focusing on alignment to long-term business strategy and ROI.
  • Lead long term planning, quarterly forecast, and month end close activities for R&D organization that help create department-level budgets, variance analysis, and monthly reporting packages
  • Communicate the story behind the numbers during monthly / quarterly reviews, doing thorough investigation of the financial performance.
  • Proactively provide actionable insights to business and finance leadership to drive decision making within the company.
  • Partner with Product leadership to create the investment business cases and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Lead a team of 2+ analysts to help build scalable financial processes within the company, by partnering with a broader FP&A organization.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience, preferably in Business Finance / FP&A, investment banking, Accounting, and/or consulting with preference for enterprise software or SaaS business
  • Ability to be hands-on while building and leading a finance team in India that can liaise with US HQ Finance team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models
  • Experience supporting Product / Engg functions in a Finance or Operations role
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional environment, able to navigate seamlessly between different functions and perspectives
  • Data-driven but also committed to supporting fast-paced, “good, not perfect” decision-making
  • Strong business and analytical acumen in order to influence and drive effective decision making
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and go-getter attitude with a proven ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under changing conditions and tight deadlines
  • Adaptive, NetSuite, SFDC experience would be a plus
