Expert in Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall Platform
Expert in Cisco routing and switching (Catalyst 9200/9300 and ISR series routers)
Expert in BGP, intermediate in OSPF.
Expert in Site-to-Site VPN creation and troubleshooting
Intermediate in Cisco WLC environment
Experience with SDWAN
Experience with working in multiple cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
Knowledge of cabling standards and acceptable media types (copper, MMF, SMF)
Experience working in a DevOps and Agile team.
Experience with network monitoring and reporting. ScienceLogic experience is a plus here.
Demonstrable Skills:
Candidate should possess the ability to provision a physical new location from start to finish. IP assignment, routing, switching, firewalling, WAN provisioning, and establishing connectivity to centralized hubs.
Ability to provision cloud environments in either AWS or Azure and translate those skills into the other environment. Automation is a plus here.
Ability to manage workload between projects, service requests, incidents, and cross training to more operationally focused team members.
Effective troubleshooting skills throughout all layers of the OSI model.
Route redistribution and migration from legacy routing protocols to iBGP/eBGP.
Ability to plan, document, and review changes with other team members
