- Participates in period planning and creating iteration plans as well as objectives
- Develops and commits to team period objectives and goals
- Conducts research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase
- Collaborates with the Kroger Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participates in design. Reviews design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead.
- Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases
- Works with the Kroger Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code
- Adheres to Kroger standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services
- Participates in code reviews.
- Follows defined branching strategies. Checks new code into the shared source code repository meeting branching guideline requirements.
- Collaborates with Consultants’ Quality Assurance on test case creation.
- Performs continuous improvement of the team’s process and themselves embracing coaching and mentoring from their Consultant Technical Lead
