Responsibilities
8 years of experience in upgrade, configure and integration of middleware components using Weblogic, Tomcat, IIS and Oracle SOA Suite
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Engineering or Equivalent
Planning, developing, executing and supporting software development lifecycle from the point of developer check-in through production deployment.
Familiar with unix/linux and associated system tools like DevOps automation tools deployed in virtual environments
Manage code repository - Knowledge on version control systems like GIT and Clearcase in terms of creating new streams, maintenance of streams and merging code between streams
Build Setup/ Build Script development - Develop Maven / Ant / MS Build scripts for project
Setup (Configure and deploy) and verify (basic smoke test to check connectivity of components, application smoke test) SIT and higher environments
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot errors from applications independently or with team members. Fix environment issues arising out of setup
Coordination with various support groups Firewall, DBA, Infrastructure team (OS/APP Server, UAT/Prod deployment team)
Need to have used Docker for at least 6 months on a daily basis ( wrote Docker file, troubleshoot container, run build, understand Docker fundamentals)
Working experience with Build and Process automation tools (Jenkins, Hudson, etc)
Seasoned in Jenkins (setup jobs, workflow and multi-node Master/Slave Jenkins cluster)
Understand Maven project object model ( can structure a project into Maven modules, write POM from scratch with profiles)
Independently determine and develop approach to solutions, working under limited direction
Acts as liason between business area and technical support teams to ensure all parties have complete understanding
Innovative in providing solutions, likes to take on challenges with calculated risk
Strive to constantly improve the system integration processes and tools
