Position Overview:

As a full stack Software Developer on this Agile team, you will have the opportunity to design, develop and implement enhancements for a large, multi-client web application within a collaborative setting.  You will perform Cloud Development using responsive web design and test-driven development with Java, ReactJS and Spring Boot for deployment on Pivotal Cloud Foundry.  Responsibilities include extensive interaction within a cross-functional team to define and design a first in class user experience and troubleshooting and resolving technical issue.

 

General Responsibilities/Experience:

•           Design, implement, deploy, and support web-based applications and web services using server technologies stacks that include Java, JSF, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA

•           Strong Experience in Java8 and Web frameworks such as Spring Boot, REST API Development, ORM, Junit, React JS and Jest

•           Strong Experience in UI Framework - React JS, JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, SCSS, NodeJS

 

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

•           Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

•           8 years of experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable web applications

•           5 years development experience with

•           Java

•           Spring Boot, REST API Development, ORM, Junit, React JS and Jest

•           Developing and consuming REST AND SOAP Services in Spring/Java

•           React JS, JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, SCSS, NodeJS

•           3 years development experience with

•           C++ on a Unix Platform

•           SQL

•           In depth knowledge of Design patterns and Data structures

•           Experience in end-to-end development of software products from requirement analysis to system study, designing, coding, de-bugging, documentation and implementation.

•           Solid understanding of concepts like Web Services, REST APIs, Message Queue, Caching, Distributed/Scalable Architecture

•           Solid practitioner’s understanding of secure application development best practices, such as OWASP

•           Ability to provide innovative technical suggestions & propose solutions

•           Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

•           Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

 

Preferred/Nice to Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

•           Agile Development

•           Test Driven Development

•           Oracle

•           Experience in C++ on a Unix platform

•           Experience in Tuxedo preferred

•           Understanding of Cloud Development and knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry infrastructure and APIs

•           Banking, financial services, or payments web application development
