- Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects.
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) solutions.
- Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance.
- Optimize database performance through several techniques including but not limited to indexing, query optimization and database design.
- Participate in periodic High Availability / Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems.
- Proactively monitor database performance and capacity of available resources.
- Provide day-to-day support for databases and database applications.
- Upgrade and patch DBMS’s.
