Roles and Responsibilities

Macro Role:
We are looking for embedded engineers whose primary responsibility will be to create firmware for Selec products for different verticals. As Senior Embedded engineers, the complexity of work would be higher & one would have a team to mentor as well along with management reviews for quality and timely delivery.Specific Responsibilities :
Development of product on the following:-
Microcontroller & Processors such as Renesas, NXP, ST, Texas, ARM
Driver layer, API and application layer for Firmware & Bootloader
Work on ADC, PWM, DAC, timers, critical timing issues for controlling algorithm.
Working on control loops like PI, PID
Working on communication protocols
Performing Design and Development activities such as Architecture Design, Algorithm Development (For Sr. position)
Embedded firmware coding and white box testing
Taking responsibility for the design and overall quality of firmware
Maintaining firmware Design Standards and Methodologies.
Providing leadership and guidance for Junior Engineers. (For Sr. position)
Documentation of design documents, flow charts, algorithms and implementation details.
Collaboration with other team members (including both hardware and software engineers) for timely completion of product development as per market requirements
Management reviews for quality and timely delivery.
Skills Required:
Good knowledge of Embedded C ,C++ and Embedded Coding standards, basic knowledge of Hardware including PCB and CKT Designing
Good to have MATLAB SIMULINK simulation
Should be a good communicator.
Must have Hardware & Software troubleshooting skills.
Should be able to support/debug system integration.
Understanding of AC / DC measurements and control loops are preferred
