Position Summary
The PeopleSoft Global QA Engineer, is responsible for translating the functional and technical analysis and creating a test plan in order to thoroughly test the functionality of the business requirement for PeopleSoft HCM NA HR and Payroll. In addition this position is responsible for executing detailed system test plan, issue reporting, issue resolution, and regression testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute detailed system test plan from functional and technical analysis
- Clearly and accurately report any bugs, including detailed reproduction steps
- Assist with debugging to isolate cause of bugs
- Verify bug resolution and track issues to closure
- Perform acceptance testing on PeopleSoft environments established for each of our clients
- Apply updates to client environments and perform system testing
- Manage and Maintain Test Data
- Manage and Maintain Automated & Manual Testing Suites
- Complete Regression Testing
- Assist the Technical, Coding, and Business Analysis teams with planning activities related to product specific Tax & Regulatory updates (i.e., bundle scheduling, project planning and tracking, etc.)
- Work closely with the Technical, Coding, and Business Analysis teams to ensure adherence to the functional specification and that all requirements are being satisfied
Minimal Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- Extensive functional and testing experience with ERP
- A track record of successful roles in several Enterprise Application projects (including full QA lifecycle processes)
- Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation and key functionality
- Experience creating and reviewing detailed functional documentation, technical documentation, and test plan
- 5+ years supporting testing functions
- Familiarity with administrative tools
Skills
- Proficient in Testing Business Analysis and Functional specification and documentations from regulatory and tax data.
- Experience in the support of PeopleSoft Global operations.
- Strong analytical and product management skills
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with other groups within the delivery organization.
- Good English, conversational and written.
