Our client, a telecommunications company in Maryland Heights, MO and Charlotte, NC is in need of a Technical Business Analyst for an initial 12-month contract with high likelihood of extension to over 18 months. The Technical Business Analyst will work onsite daily from one of the locations (Maryland Heights highly preferred), conducting thorough requirements gathering and documentation to assist a team of developers and architects developing automated email, SMS, and autocall messages to over 30 million phone, cable, and internet customers. The Analyst will develop the documentation that will be utilized by teams from platform development, QA, and front-end development. 

Required Skills:

•    Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Similar, with the ability to understand highly technical concepts 
•    Experience working with SQL quires (ability to write own queries highly preferred) 
•    Understanding and experience working with SFTP file structures for data requests
•    Understanding and experience working with and testing API calls for real time data requests 
•    Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical resources 

Preferred Skills:

•    Understanding and experience working with KAFKA feeds (highly preferred) 
•    Ability to read and understand HTML
•    Experience working on messaging platforms related to Email, SMS, and outbound dialers 
•    Exposure to CSG billing platforms 
•    Telecom/Cable industry experience
