- 3+ years of relevant work experience developing mainframe applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related technology field is preferred
- In-depth experience in COBOL and a technical background that includes CICS, VSAM, JCL, TSO, RDS, ChangeMan, Zeke, and related utilities. Knowledge of Assembler is beneficial but not required
- Experience within production application support. This position will participate in an on-call rotation with team members.
- Can perform in-depth analysis on production issues as well as document the results for future reference.
- You have banking industry experience in banking or other financial systems. Although this is not required, it is highly preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Banking (ELB) team provides development and support of mainframe applications within our Commercial, Consumer and Institutional Banking line of business.
As a Mainframe Developer:
- You will be providing development support and enhancements for mainframe applications.
- You will work closely with the development and support teams to help design and build enterprise-level solutions.
- You will look for ways to assist in improving development efficiency and implementing those best practices.
