Position Description and Job Skill Set
Description of the job functions the contractor will be expected to perform.
MDCPS seeks experienced professionals who have understanding of Natural, VB6, and .Net Programming languages
as well as an understanding of Child Welfare systems, processes, and workflows. Contractor will be responsible for
management of Natural coding, resolution of issues in production environment system(s), and development of new
processes and functionalities.
Required Skills/Experience
Provide the minimum required skills and/or experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position. These
requirements will be transferred to the Score Sheet and candidates without these requirements reflected on their resume will
NOT be presented to the manager for consideration.
To be considered, all proposed contractors must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-Ten (10) years of Natural Programming Language experience
-Ten (10) years of Visual Basic 6 Programming Language experience
Preferred/Not Required
Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory
experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Mississippi Automated Child Welfare Information System
Experience in Child Welfare processes and workflows
Experience with federal requirements for Child Welfare management systems
Experience with ADABAS
Experience with .NET Programming language
